Noblesville IN Courthouse Wedding | Jake + Paige Heffner
Posted in Weddings
Oh my word, I am so unbelievably excited to be sharing highlights from Jake + Paige’s sweet and beautiful courthouse wedding on the historical square in downtown Noblesville, Indiana!! Shooting a courthouse wedding has been on my “photography bucket list” for 7 or 8 years, so when Paige contacted me a few months ago about her upcoming wedding, I was absolutely thrilled!
It was an absolutely perfect Friday summer morning. The sun was shining, the birds were singing and the air was breezy. I spent some time with the bride and groom shooting their portraits just outside the old courthouse where they would recite their vows only an hour later. Next, we ventured inside the courthouse to take advantage of the aged wood and beautiful window light that you can only find within the hallways of an historic building. After we wrapped up their portraits, close family members of the bride and groom took their seats inside the courtroom and waited for the ceremony to begin. The bride and groom walked into the room together, hand in hand, and stood before their justice of the peace. The ceremony was short and simple with a brief scripture reading, the exchanging of vows and rings, and of course, an official first kiss as husband and wife. Afterwards, the newlyweds took a moment to hug their family members who were still shedding a few tears, and then we all made our way outside the courthouse for one final group shot. To the newly married Mr + Mrs Jake and Paige Heffner, I am completely honored and humbled that you asked me to capture such a beautiful event! Congratulations to you both as you start this new chapter as husband and wife. Cheers!
