Jon + Amanda | Wedding at the Barn On Boundary, Muncie IN
Posted in Weddings
Spring storms did not put a damper on this perfect outdoor wedding! Jon and Amanda’s day began with the bridal party getting ready in the beautiful home of a family friend. The girls ate lunch, enjoyed some pre-wedding cocktails and dressed in their sparkly, gold gowns while the guys played pool and lounged around the basement. Luckily, the rain cleared up just in time for the bride and groom to have their first look outside on the grounds of the home. After we wrapped up bridal portraits, the whole wedding party headed out to The Barn on Boundary. The barn was stunning, (as always) decked out in all the gorgeous pink and gold details selected by the bride and groom. Vocalists serenaded guests as they took their seats for the outdoor ceremony. The sun even came out just in time for the bride and her father to walk down the aisle – it was perfect! Their ceremony was simple and sweet. Not only did Jon pledge his lifelong devotion to his beautiful bride, but also to her daughter, Paisley, promising to love her and care for her as if she were his own. They sealed their love with a kiss and officially became a family of three! After the vows, guests made their way inside the barn to enjoy cocktail hour (with signature bride and groom drinks!) followed by dinner. Touching speeches were given by the father of the bride, best man and matron of honor. The newlyweds then cut their cake and enjoyed their first slow dance as husband and wife. Jon and Paisley even had their own special father/daughter dance and ended it with an epic “dab”, which was hands down one of my favorite moments of the whole day! The festivities continued with the garter and bouquet toss, along with a s’mores bar and continued throughout the evening as family and friends danced the night away. To the new Mr. + Mrs. Salmon, I can’t thank you enough for allowing me to be a part of your wedding story. I wish you both all the happiness in the world as you start this new chapter as husband and wife. Cheers!
