Cromer Bar Mitzvah | Indianapolis Bar Mitzvah Photographer

Oh my goodness, I am so excited to be posting highlights from Doland’s bar mitzvah and sports themed celebration! This particular bar mitzvah is special to me because it is the second time I was asked to capture an event for the Cromer family. A few years ago, I also photographed their daughter DellaRose’s bat mitzvah (it was llama themed!), so I was especially honored when they asked me to come back and shoot for them again.
Doland’s bar mitzvah festivities began a couple weeks ago as I met up with the Cromer family for Torah photos and family formals in the sanctuary at Indianapolis Hebrew Congregation. Afterwards, we made our way into Rabbi Krichiver’s office where Doland received some last minute words of wisdom and inspiration before heading into his bar mitzvah service. Later that evening, I arrived at Saxony Hall in Fishers, where the entire room was decked out in sports gear, quotes and decorations. Guests entered under an archway of balloons and were invited to enjoy an open concession stand with a lengthy menu of traditional game day food, along with fruit, snacks and mini sports themed cupcakes. DJ Tim Fuller provided the party playlist while Doland and his guests enjoyed basketball, dancing, and the main attraction: a giant indoor inflatable where players would have to jump and dodge the huge rotating arm in the middle of the ring. Later in the evening, family and friends were invited to watch a slideshow staring Doland, and of course the Hora. It was the perfect casual yet energetic party with lots of good food and fellowship.
Once again, to the Cromer family, thank you for letting me photograph another fantastic and memorable day! I am honored you have allowed me to capture so many wonderful memories for your family!
