Alec + Haley | Summer Wedding at Mustard Seed Gardens, Noblesville IN
Posted in Weddings
On Saturday, August 5th, 2017, Alec and Haley tied the knot in front of family and friends on the grounds of the gorgeous Mustard Seed Gardens in Noblesville, Indiana. Their day began with the girls getting hair and makeup done at the salon while the boys hung out together at their hotel. Afterwards, I met up with Haley and her bridesmaids for some detail shots at her home. But before everyone headed over to the wedding venue, the bride-to-be opened up a very sweet gift from her groom. Alec had selected a pair of earrings just for her to wear on their wedding day. And, of course, they matched perfectly with her gorgeous pear shaped engagement ring.
Later that afternoon, the bridal party arrived at Mustard Seed to put on their formal wear and finishing touches inside the Metsker house. I absolutely cannot get enough of Haley’s stunning soft blush colored wedding dress! It coordinated perfectly with her lily bouquet accented with baby’s breath, which she made herself! The groomsmen were also looking very dapper in their cream colored suits and matching watches which they all received as gifts from Alec. Once we wrapped up bridal party photos, it was time for the guests to arrive.
Family and friends took their seats in front of the white gazebo as the wedding party lined up to make their way down the aisle. Overwhelmed at seeing his beautiful bride for the very first time that day, Alec shed a few tears as Haley made her grand entrance into the ceremony. The two stood before their loved ones and took their sacred vows of commitment. They sealed letters to each other, along with a bottle of wine, into a custom made box which is to be opened on their anniversary in many years down the road. After they exchanged rings, the two sealed their love with a kiss and officially became Mr. and Mrs. Ornelas!
While guests enjoyed an outdoor cocktail hour, I got to spend some time photographing the newlyweds throughout the Mustard Seed grounds until it was time for them to be announced into their reception. After dinner was served, toasts were given by the father of the bride, maid of honor and best man. Alec and Haley then made their way to the center of the dance floor for their first dance as husband and wife to the tune of “Incase You Didn’t Know” by Brett Young. This was followed by Haley’s dance with her father to “My Little Girl” by Tim McGraw and Alec’s dance with his mother to “My Wish” by Rascal Flats. Once the formal reception events were through, guests spend the rest of the evening mingling and dancing until the last call at 11pm. A perfect end to a perfect day!
Alec and Haley, I can’t thank you enough for asking me to capture such an amazing wedding! I am so incredibly happy for the two of you to start this new chapter of your lives together. Congratulations once again!
